Whitney Moore is an award winning Science-Fiction author. She was born in 1984 in Greensboro, NC. She started writing at 10 years old. She also liked to draw and her first writing venture was a comic book series called Cat Crusader. By the time she was 20 she had written her first full-length novel and soon after that began freelancing as a writer for multiple websites .
Her third novel is about cupcakes and existentialism (Cupcakes and the Centre of the Universe). Others include Apocowlypto: The Quest for the Queso (Aug. 4th 2012) and The Little Book of Alarming Things a short story collection exploring everything from an 80′s style hair metal band of penguins to what it would be like for a writer to face a villain of his own creation. She is also still working as a graphic designer and is currently illustrating a children’s book series to hit the Kindle market in October 2012. Heavily influenced by the art world her books transcend the realms of popular fiction delving into the surreal and metaphysical often with a comedic spin.
